Accessibility Statement

Hope58's commitment to a website everyone can use, the standard we work toward, and how to reach us about an accessibility issue.

Last Updated: May 19, 2026

Our Commitment

Hope58 is committed to making our website accessible to people of all abilities. Everyone, including people with visual, hearing, motor, or cognitive disabilities, should be able to learn about the ministry, give to support the work in Bulesa, and reach our team.

The Standard We Aim For

We work toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). WCAG 2.1 Level AA is the standard most commonly referenced for public-sector and nonprofit websites in the United States and internationally.

We test the site with automated accessibility tools, manual keyboard testing, and screen-reader spot checks. We improve issues as we find them.

Steps We Have Taken

Known Gaps

Accessibility is ongoing work. Some parts of the site may not yet fully meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA, including third-party embeds (such as YouTube video players and the donation processor on GoMission.church) that we do not directly control. We continue to test and improve.

Tools and Technologies

This site uses HTML5, CSS, and a limited amount of JavaScript. It is designed to work with current versions of major browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) and with screen readers including NVDA, JAWS, and VoiceOver. Older browsers may not render every visual feature. The core information and donation flows remain reachable.
